LIMITED WARRANTY ON NEW FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING LONG BLOCKS (USA ONLY)

Fleece Performance Engineering will provide for repairs or replacement, at its option, during the warranty period of each new product model listed below accordance with the following terms, conditions, and limitations:

GENERAL TERMS 
WARRANTY APPLIES — This warranty applies only to new long block models listed in the table below and is provided to the original owner(s) of the product during the warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to the secondary owner(s). 
REPAIRS COVERED — The warranty covers repairs or replacement, at Fleece Performance Engineering’s option, to correct any malfunction resulting from defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period. Repairs or replacements will be performed using the method Fleece Performance Engineering determines most appropriate under the circumstances. Repairs may be performed by the Authorized Dealer at the direction of Fleece Performance Engineering. In some cases, further inspection may be required before a warranty determination can be made, in those cases, the long block must be returned to Fleece Performance Engineering for inspection.  
OBTAINING REPAIRS — To obtain warranty repairs contact your Authorized Dealer or contact us at 317-286-3573 and request the needed repairs. To substantiate a warranty claim, additional information will be required based on the nature of a claim. This information may include but is not limited to vehicle service history, current mileage, photographs, invoices, and evidence of diagnostic steps performed.  
WARRANTY PERIOD and PRODUCT REGISTRATION — The warranty period shall begin on the date of purchase by the final end user or delivery date by the Authorized Fleece Performance Engineering Dealer. Registration of the product by the Authorized Dealer or final end customer is required for eligible warranty coverage within 30 days of purchase. No warranty will be provided for products not registered within 30 days of purchase.  
LABOR – For long blocks originally installed by a Fleece Performance Authorized Engine Dealer, the labor expenses associated with a warranty repair will be covered up to $3,000.00. Additional labor expenses associated with a repair are not covered. Labor coverage will not be provided for any long blocks installed by an unauthorized Fleece Performance service location or by the end user. 

LIMITED WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS 
DAMAGE CAUSED by IMPROPER INSTALLATION, LACK of MAINTENANCE, or FAILURE OF INSTALLED COMPONENTS — Defects and damage caused by a failure to follow the recommendations for proper installation or as a result of poor maintenance intervalsapplicable to the product are not covered under this warranty. Damages caused as a result of contaminated fuel, foreign debris, lack of proper oil maintenance, improper break-in procedure, or any other poor maintenance practice on the part of the owner is not covered under this warranty. This warranty does not cover damage caused by fuel injectors or injector pump failure, engine overheating, EGR failure, improper tuning, piston failure as a result of failed injectors, excessive EGT’s, or any other damage that occurs as a result of a failure of a component not included in the long block. This warranty does not cover any progressive damage to any parts not originally supplied on the long block as delivered by Fleece Performance Engineering.  
MAINTENANCE — Normal maintenance and wear components are the owner’s responsibility and is not covered under this warranty. 
REPAIRS by UNAUTHORIZED SERVICE OUTLETS —Defects and damage caused by a service outlet that is not an Authorized Fleece Performance Engineering Dealer are not covered under this warranty. 
DAMAGE DUE TO ACCIDENT, MISUSE, or ALTERATION — Defects and damage caused as the result of any of the following are not covered:  
•  Acts of God including, but not limited to: flood, fire, theft, freezing, vandalism, riot, explosion, and; 
•  Anything other than defects in material or workmanship of Fleece Performance Engineering products. 
EXTRA EXPENSES — Economic loss and extra expenses are not covered. Examples include but are not limited to: towing, inconvenience, storage, shipping, lost time, or travel.

WARRANTY REGISTRATION 
IMPORTANT: Final buyer MUST complete Warranty Registration Form within 30 days of purchase or all warranty consideration will be VOID.

Final buyer must accept the terms of the Limited Warranty including coverages and exclusions provided by Fleece Performance Engineering. For all commercial use installations, a DOT number is required for warranty registration. 

THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THE FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING PRODUCTS LISTED ABOVE AND FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING DOES NOT AUTHORIZE ANY PERSON INCLUDING REPRESENTATIVES OF ITS AUTHORIZED SERVICE NETWORK TO CREATE FOR IT ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH MODELS. FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED OR EXPRESS WARRANTY.
