LIMITED WARRANTY ON NEW FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING PRODUCTS (US AND CANADA ONLY)

Fleece Performance Engineering will provide for repairs or replacement, at its option, during the warranty period of each new product model listed in the table below in accordance with the following terms, conditions, and limitations:

GENERAL TERMS
WARRANTY APPLIES — This warranty applies to the new products and models set forth in the table below and is provided to the original owner(s) of the product during the warranty period. This warranty is non-transferrable and does not apply to secondary owner(s). This warranty applies only to products sold directly through Fleece Performance Engineering or any of its Authorized Resellers. 
REPAIRS COVERED — The warranty covers repair or replacement, at Fleece Performance Engineering’s option, to correct any malfunction resulting from defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period. Repairs or replacements will be performed using the method Fleece Performance Engineering determines most appropriate under  the circumstances. In most cases, further inspection of a product be required before a warranty determination can be made, in those cases, the product must be returned to Fleece Performance Engineering for inspection and review.
COVERAGE TERMS — Warranty will be covered per the schedule set forth in the table below.
OBTAINING REPAIRS — For all warranty concerns, contact your Authorized Dealer or contact us at 317-286-3573. To substantiate a warranty claim, additional information will be required based on the nature of a claim. This information may include but is not limited to, original invoice and proof of purchase, vehicle service history, current mileage, photographs, and evidence of diagnostic steps performed.  
WARRANTY PERIOD — The warranty period for all coverages shall begin on the date of purchase by the final end user.  The warranty period for all coverages shall end at the expiration of the coverage set forth in the table below. 
PRODUCT REGISTRATION – Registration requirements for warranty are set forth in the table below. No warranty will be provided for products that require registration and are not registered within 30 days of purchase. 

LIMITED WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
DAMAGE CAUSED by IMPROPER INSTALLATION or LACK of MAINTENANCE — Defects and damage caused by a failure to follow the recommendations for proper installation or as a result of poor maintenance intervals applicable to the product are not covered under this warranty. Damages caused as a result of contaminated fuel, foreign debris, lack of proper oil maintenance, or any other poor maintenance practice on the part of the owner is not covered under this warranty.
MAINTENANCE — Normal maintenance and wear components are the owner’s responsibility and is not covered under this warranty.
REPAIRS by UNAUTHORIZED SERVICE OUTLETS —Defects and damage caused by a service outlet that is not an Authorized Fleece Performance Engineering Dealer or service outlet are not covered under this warranty.
USE of OTHER THAN GENUINE FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING PARTS —Defects and damage caused by the use of parts that are not genuine Fleece Performance Engineering parts are not covered under this warranty.
DAMAGE DUE TO ACCIDENT, MISUSE, or ALTERATION — Defects and damage caused as the result of any of the following are not covered: 
    •  Acts of God including, but not limited to: flood, fire, theft, freezing, vandalism, riot, explosion, and;
    •  Anything other than defects in material or workmanship of Fleece Performance Engineering products.
EXTRA EXPENSES — Economic loss and extra expenses are not covered. Examples include but are not limited to:  towing, inconvenience, storage, shipping, lost time, or travel.
LABOR – Labor and/or installation expenses associated with a repair are not covered under this warranty.

PRODUCT, WARRANTY PERIOD, AND COVERAGE

(1) To return a product for warranty you must obtain an RMA number from Fleece Performance Engineering and return the completed RMA with your product within 30 days of discovering alleged defect. Fleece Performance Engineering will perform a failure analysis on the returned product to determine if the failure was due to a defect in our materials or workmanship. If it is determined that our workmanship caused the failure, you will be provided with a replacement or repaired product. If it is determined that the failure was due to something other than our workmanship, no refund or replacement will be given for the returned material. Damage or defect due to disassembly or as a result of the product being altered by the owner or his technician for the purpose of modification, including any evidence of tampering on the part of the customer will not be covered.

(2) Turbochargers carry a non-transferable, parts only replacement warranty. The warranty does not apply to any turbo that has been improperly stored or installed. This warranty does not apply to misapplication or use in an application for which it is not advertised, improper operating conditions, accidents, or neglect. This warranty shall not apply to a turbo that has been improperly repaired, maintained and/or altered by the owner or his technician. Damage due to plugged oil return lines, thrust bushing/bearing damage due to excessive turbo speed, and/or insufficient/improper oil supply is not covered under this warranty. This warranty does not cover a failure resulting from foreign objects (debris). However, in the event of a failure, Fleece Performance Engineering will inspect the turbo for damage and charge the consumer only for the cost of replacement parts required to repair the turbo assembly. All turbochargers must first be returned to Fleece Performance Engineering for inspection and evaluation prior to any warranty consideration as outlined in item 1 above. 

(3) Damage or failure due to contaminated fuel or debris in the fuel system will not be covered under this warranty. This applies to any and all fuel system components including injection pumps, lift pumps, and sending units. In order to obtain your Lifetime Warranty on a new PowerFlo Lift pump you must register it within 30 days of purchase. Warranty is non-transferrable and applies to the original purchaser only. *ALL FUEL RELATED PRODUCTS REQUIRE RETURN TO FLEECE PERFORMANCE PRIOR TO ANY WARRANTY CONSIDERATION.

(4) Beginning with units manufactured on or after 11/19/2018 and S/N 35-25744.  All turbos with an earlier date of manufacture or earlier serial number are covered under the original Limited Warranty of 12 Months, Unlimited Mileage.

THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THE FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING PRODUCTS LISTED ABOVE AND FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT LIABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING DOES NOT AUTHORIZE ANY PERSON INCLUDING REPRESENTATIVES OF ITS AUTHORIZED SERVICE NETWORK TO CREATE FOR IT ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH MODELS. FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED OR EXPRESS WARRANTY.
