As an ISO9001 certified manufacturer with more than 120 employees, our extensive manufacturing capability and broad cross section of resources include engineers, design engineers (CAD), machinists and fabricators have been producing innovative solutions for more than 18 years.

Our story started with the desire to create.
Fleece Performance Engineering was established in 2008 in North Salem, Indiana by Brayden Fleece and Chase Fleece. The brothers both had a passion for continuosly innovating and improving products already on the market. Brayden's 2004.5 LLY Duramax became the test bed to develop the TurboBrake and Duramaz Cheetah. Chase's 2002 Cummins was one of the first Cummins pickups to integrate an Allison Transmission. With a line of X products, Fleece Performance Engineering needed more space and relocated to Nitro Alley in Brownsburg, Indiana in 2018. Situated among some of the top racing leaders in the world, word spread about our innovatiions.
In 2014, Freedom Racing Engines was acquired enabling Fleece Performance to expand engine development programs and product offerings in the diesel market. Together, Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines build some of the most competitive engines and race proven products in the industry. Our products are distributed and sold exclusively under the Fleece Performance Engineering brand or directly from our headquarters in Pittsboro, Indiana.
As growth continued, so did the need for a new facility. A new 75,000 square foot headquarters was opened in Pittsboro, Indiana to enable that growth.
The move to the new facility was completed in 2019; setting the standard as a leading manufacturer of automotive aftermarket products. The new facility allows for continued product development, more production and work areas including the assembly and a warehouse for more than 350 parts. More than 80 employees moved into the two story office space proving once again, American Manufacturing is alive and well.
Our ISO Certification signifies that Fleece Performance Engineering has implemented a quality management system that meets international standards for consisten quality in our products.
- Acquisition of Concept Performance – becomes Fleece Performance Castings
- Expansion on current facility begins to allow for increased manufacturing bringing total square footage under one roof to 225,000 sq feet with over 400 Products and 130 Employees.
