FEATURES

Cross-braced lifter valley: Provides added structural integrity and individual drain backs for improved reliability.

Heavy-duty deck thickness: Features a robust 0.750-inch deck thickness for enhanced durability.

Enhanced design: Includes additional stock to the front and rear valley walls for increased strength along with minimum 0.625-inch skirt wall thickness and a complete reinforced exoskeleton.

Billet main caps: Premium billet construction ensures stability and precision fitment. Utilizes 7/16-14” main studs and M10 side bolts along with dowels on the inner studs of the block for superior clamping and reliability.  

Maximized crankshaft saddle radius: Optimized for performance under high-stress conditions.

Lightweight: Weighs only 120 pounds with main caps, offering a strong yet lightweight solution.

Priority Oil System: Oil rifling provides priority oil feed to the critical bottom-end components, reducing heat, wear, and risk of failure.

Ductile iron sleeves: Provide a durable wear-resistant surface with improved shock absorption to handle high-performance applications.

The engine block is shipped with the following:

·         Durabond GMP-9 cam bearings

·         LTR rear cover, rear cover gasket, and hardware

·         Plug kit

·         Precision ground 1018/1020 Steel cam thrust plate

·         Transmission dowel pins

·         Oil galley barbel plug

·         Rear main seal

 

BUILDER NOTES

The LTR block is semi-machined and requires final machining to the builder’s final specifications for the application, required machining includes:

·         Final deck surface (0.011” additional provided on the deck surface)

·         Final cylinder hone (sleeve inside diameter of 4.110” provided)

·         Final OD on the crankshaft mains (0.003” additional provided for the final hone)

 

The camshaft and lifter bores are finish machined and ready for precision bearings and lifters.
